the user to provide personally identifiable data like name, postal address,
email address or company name e.g. when requesting a software license.
Your privacy is important to us.
The personal data provided is primarily used for administrating the customers
and the provided software licenses. No personally identifiable data will
be sold or rented to third parties.
We disclose information that we in good faith believe is appropriate to
cooperate in investigations of fraud or other illegal activity.
We disclose information in response to a subpoena, warrant, court order,
levy, attachment, order of a court-appointed receiver or other comparable
legal process, including subpoenas from private parties in a civil action.
Personally identifiable data provided by the user is utilized during the
download of software and software updates as well as the requesting of
software licenses.
Further data which is generated through the normal webserver operation, like
server logfiles including information such as IP-addresses, visited pages
on the server and date/time are used for statistical, anonymous evaluations and to
ensure the safe and stable operation of the webserver.
There is no automatic matching of this data with any personally identifiable
data e.g. for the creation of personally identifiable usage profiles.
Every user of the services of Nightstone systems may choose to object the
further use of his personally identifiable data, obtained through web forms
for software downloads, license requests etc. by Nightstone systems and
affiliates.
For this he is to send a formal request for deletion of his personally
identifiable data via postal mail to Nightstone systems (for postal
address, refer to imprint).
The personally identifiable data of the user will then be deleted from the
system in due time. By filing a request for deletion of his data, the user
agrees to do without the services of Nightstone systems that rely on the
usage of this data.
